Ely to London London is a day-trip The train journey is short. The fare is less than accommodation in quite modest London hotels. The fastest trains to London take 69 minutes to Kings Cross station, with tube (Underground railway) and bus connections to all destinations in London. In the Evening After sightseeing, bookings may be possible at any of the three opera houses, concert venues, and at about fifty theatres. . . . and return by train to Ely. How many days? We recommend at least three days for essential sightseeing. The itineraries given involve a lot of walking, and occupy morning and afternoon, but there is no other way! With a good street map and a tube map and a strategic taxi ride you can cut a few corners! The suggestions for evening entertainments may not all appeal to all tastes but they are offered as being (mostly) fairly close to the termination of the day's walk. A longer stay at Ely In addition to these itineraries we can offer suggestions on how best to spend your time in London. With more time at your disposal, visit the many Museums and Galleries.
